Refreshing Your Closet.

The new year is always a time to refresh. Whether you are cleaning through your closet, or planning your next purchase for post quarantine life, we have some advice for you.

Keep things to a minimum.

With life on pause, it is easy to see what you need and do not need. It’s time to donate the items you no longer use, or pass it along to a friend that can give your pieces another life.

Do not purchase in bulk.

Although it is exciting to do an entire shopping spree, it can lead to a lot of unnecessary purchases. Most of the time these items just sit in your closet, never being used. Instead, you can save for an item you would really like.

Make a list.

This can contain items you would like to purchase, big or small, that you have been interested in for more than two weeks. This ensures you actually can put the product to use rather than buying into a fad you cannot use next year.

Let’s think of this time as an opportunity to clean up our closets, and create a wardrobe we feel good about and good wearing.
